July 4th 2012 Celebration - Part One

Well this years July 4th party was a blast!!!!!  The count was 75 family and friends gathered to celebrate...sharing stories, food and fun.  The weather was hot so many jumped in the water or just found a shady spot to relax and talk.  The cooks and bakers in the family did not disappoint as the tables were covered in wonderful choices.  The fireworks display was over the top headed by Mark the lead pyrotechnic.  The campfire was kept to a slow roar and marshmallows were toasted and roasted to order.  The air was filled with patriotic songs as darkness covered the island and the skies above us exploded with fireworks all up and down the pond...I must say as usual our display was the best!

So many photos were taken by Cathy and Sandie Lee and I know these are so much fun to look at.  Those that were here can spend some time just enjoying and recalling the fun and those unable to attend are going to be able to see family and friends in so many shots...so I decided to keep the captions to a minimum and just upload a boat load of photos...it may take three or four blog entries to accomplish this...so check back every few days....

Without further ado...enjoy!

The view walking up the driveway to the island.
All the following photos are of the group photos...yes photos!  You will see
the actual group shots changed as people keep coming in or leaving or moving around.
Some photos show the group gathering and some show so many people
taking photos...ENJOY!!!!!

So that concludes the group photo selections...I love everyone of them...

I was going to add more photos but since the last time I blogged everything has changed...so I will close and just make another entry...
